The Great 12 Challenge

Get Active for Hertfordshire's Children and Young People

The "Great 12 Challenge" is a fun and flexible community-driven fundraising event designed to support Helping Herts and its 12 partnered children's charities.

Throughout October, participants can choose from a variety of challenges that incorporate the number 12, making it easy and fun for scout groups, families, and individuals to get involved.

The event encourages participants to push their limits, stay active, and raise much-needed funds for local children’s causes.

The Great 12 Challenge

Our challenge is simple and anyone can get involved: complete activities related to the number 12.  Here are some ideas:

24 mile walk; Lace up your trainers and explore your neighbourhood on a 12 mile walk.  Invite family and friends to join you. Do it in 1 day or 12

120 mile cycle ride: Hope on your bike and pedal your way to 120 miles.  Enjoy scenic routes and fresh air while supporting a great cause

12 mile run: run, jog, or walk – its up to you.  Complete 24 miles over several days or all at once.  Track your progress and share it with us

12 acts of kindness; perform 12 acts of kindness – one for each charity we support.  Help a neighbour, volunteer or spread positivity online
